Our New Orleans hotel offers two artfully designed meeting spaces. The first is on sister-hotel International House's second floor, an inspired intersection of Architecture, Art and Technology. The classical architecture features a beautiful statue of Omphale, her epic life forever linked to Hercules. Her allegorical female figure reigns atop the building, holding Hercules’ club and wearing his lion-skin cape. Building on the theme, the pre-function meeting space is home to the hotel’s internationally recognized Magdalena Gallery. It contains a growing collection of curated original art which explores the life and legacy of Mary Magdalene, celebrating the divine feminine and power of women generally. Finally, 100 MHz wifi, modern A|V technology, handsome furniture by Herman Miller and custom furnishings by designer Lisa Marie Pagano create an uncommonly beautiful, highly functional meeting space designed to stoke creativity.
The second space is our Conference Center at Entrepreneurs’ Row®. This rare, cast iron facade is more than 100-years-old and once housed New Orleans’ most prominent music store.
It is a compelling mix of old and new. Historic architecture belies leading-edge technology and handsomely designed furnishings. The first in the city to offer 100 MHz internet speeds, the building is a joyful celebration of creativity, with expansive meeting spaces, warm white walls, large windows, rich lighting, custom carpet and an impressive array of local art set to a canvas of historic masonry and exposed wooden beams. Contemporary A|V equipment is readily available for any high-tech need.
